Summary

Amends the

Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905
to: incorporate an exception, which applies to representations as to the country of origin of goods under the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010
(CCA), so that it applies in relation to a false trade description; and enable information standards made or declared under the CCA, and that are in force or existing from time to time, to be incorporated by reference in the Act.
